In 2019, Eva Villegas and Brice Montagnoux recorded their first album, Dialogue sur les jeux d’anchesat St-Michel Church in Grimaud, for the Organroxx label.

For this recording, Eva Villegas used the brand new Henri Selmer Paris Privilege Evolution B-flat clarinet, paired with the church’s Quoirin pipe organ.

Le grand-orgue de l’église Saint-Michel de Grimaud a été construit en 2016 par le facteur d’orgue français Pascal Quoirin, installé dans le Vaucluse. Il comprend 13 jeux sur 2 claviers et pédalier.

The first sound layer is a larger ensemble, created along the lines of an Italian ripieno. This allows for variations in multiple forms of polyphonic registration.

To this, a traverso flute was added, imitating the first transverse flutes of the Baroque period. The second layer, arranged to be in contrast and dialogue with the first, is mainly made up of flutes, a trumpet and a cornet, forming a large chorus.

The choice of transmission system fell on one that was fairly recently developed by ELTEC: proportional digital transmission.

Recorded repertoire: : Camille Saint-Saëns, Charles-Marie Widor, Robert M. Helmschrott, Johann Sebastian Bach, Anthoni van Noordt and Georg Muffat.
